Don’t be afraid of watercolor! This class is designed to help you explore watercolor in a relaxed, encouraging setting, whether you are brand new or ready to grow your skills.
Beginners will be introduced to foundational watercolor techniques, including water control, materials, basic brushstrokes, and simple guided projects. You’ll work at your own pace while building confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
More experienced students will have the opportunity to deepen their skills, explore new techniques, and continue developing their own artistic voice with this beautiful and versatile medium.
Whether you’re starting from the beginning, returning to watercolor, or simply want four weeks to experiment and create, this class offers a welcoming place to learn and grow.

SUPPLIES:
8x10 Arches (preferred) cold press watercolor pad 140lb
Assortment of watercolor brushes (look for sets online at Amazon, Cheap Joes, Blick; you can also look at Michael's or Hobby Lobby) They don't need to be expensive.
Student grade set of watercolors in tubes. Winsor & Newton is a good brand to start with.
Some kind of porcelain palette. Michaels has a round one for about $8
Two water containers
Paper towels
Artist tape, or Washi tape or 0.75" painters tape.
2B pencils and kneaded eraser
