Join us for a fun and creative sewing class where you'll make your very own stylish cross-back apron! The design is fully reversible-so you get two looks in one-and it even doubles as a harvest apron. This class is perfect for all skill levels! If you can sew a straight stitch, you can join the fun!
Ages: 14 to adult
Skill level: very basic sewing skills needed (just sewing a straight stitch)
Supplies:
-$10.00 for pattern (pattern comes in 2 sizes, but instructor can help adjust up or down for inclusive sizing)
-2, one yard pieces of woven fabrics. (2 yards total) Cotton, linen, cotton/linen blend, canvas or denim are good choices. They can be different fabrics, for a reversible effect, or the same if you prefer.
-matching thread -heavy duty needle if your fabric is canvas, otherwise a universal needle will do
-scissors to cut paper
-sharp scissors to cut fabric
-sewing machine with foot pedal, power cord, and bobbin
-pins
-fabric pen or standard pencil
-snack or bag lunch, drink (optional)
Max class size: 7
Preregistration by 7/24 recommended but walk-in's accepted if the class is not sold out.
