About this Event

Tāmaki Herenga Tāngata is hosting a curriculum session designed to support middle leaders in navigating the leading of curriculum change and development within their schools.

Potential focus areas include:

• Reporting to parents (preparing for end of year reporting; unpacking progress descriptors; how to support teachers with moderation)
• Embedding the English and Mathematics curriculum (exploring practices around explicit teaching and differentiation)
• Integration/timetabling (integrating teaching sequence statements; learning area time expectations)
• Planning for the implementation of Science and Social Sciences (annual curriculum overview; integration; using contextualised curriculum)
