The Work That Reconnects: Nurturing Community, Resilience and Empowerment

Are you feeling heartbroken? Powerless? Wondering how to turn your despair into inspired action?

The Work That Reconnects offers a way forward with hope.

This workshop/retreat includes creative rituals, deep sharing, quiet reflection, inspirational readings, song, movement and celebration. It will empower us with tools for dealing with the challenges of living in these troubling times and will support us in moving forward with active hope.

The Work That Reconnects is a life-changing and life-affirming group process that is made for these times. In this weekend workshop, we come together to create a supportive community for our truth speaking and imagination.

We’ll explore our individual identity and its impact on how we can show up for ourselves and others. We will ground ourselves in gratitude, honor our pain for the world, expand our sense of self, power and connection, strengthen our resilience and find clarity around how we can play a part in the healing of our communities and our planet.

This engaging and invigorating experience empowers us with tools for dealing with the challenges of living in these times, supporting us to move forward with hope.

About Kathleen Rude: Kathleen is a senior facilitator of The Work That Reconnects and was mentored by Joanna Macy, internationally acclaimed eco-philosopher. Kathleen began her career as an environmental writer, a profession she embraced for 15 years. She was raised liberal Lutheran in a household steeped in Jungian psychology. Both traditions continue to inspire and guide her life and work. She was initiated by Blackfoot, Northern Ute and Lakota elders into indigenous spiritual practices and studied core shamanism with Betsy Bergstrom and Sandra Ingerman. She is a shamanic practitioner, teacher and ceremonial leader and a member of the Society for Shamanic Practice.
