About this Event
As the days continue to grow brighter and nature starts waking up in the forests, beneath the warming earth and in your gardens, join us for a celebration of the Sweet Moon of Ojibwe.
It is also the eve of a total lunar eclipse in Pisces so this ritual will be supercharged ! Eclipse season brings a lot of fated magic and Maeve will be serving herbal tea blends to promote health and prosperity !
Rituals during this time often focus on setting intentions, releasing old habits, and embracing new beginnings, reflecting the changes happening both in nature and within ourselves, igniting hope that Winter does not last forever and that Earth is never idle.
Releasing ritual. These are powerful during any full moon, but it’s good to consider what you want to let go of during a season change. What needs to be spring cleaned in your life? Write down anything you wish to release on a piece of paper then burn the paper safely. As the paper turns to ash, you can let go of what you were carrying and make room for good things.
Seed Planting Ritual. Plant seeds in small pots or in a container garden. As you plant each, let it represent something you’d like to manifest in the next season. It can be something physical or an energy you’d like to invite in or grow into. As you care for the plants and they grow, so will your intention.
Spring Cleaning. Use this time to physically and energetically cleanse your living space. Open your windows, declutter your space, then purify the area as you feel called to with smoke, salt, or energy. As you tidy, set the intention to move stuck energy and welcome renewal, make space for dreams to bloom and flourish !
This moon also marks the time of year when the sap of sugar maples starts to flow.
A natural reward for all your hard work this winter !
This spiritual and highly heart-warming tea ritual starts with an explorative tour of the castle conducted by historian William G. Krejci. Once the warm-up part of scouting around is over, comforts of the soul will be tended to by Maeve's Magic putting on a tea ritual as both a cultural and festive experience. Guests will discover Maeve's Magic herbal brews, whimsical bites such as hors d'oeuvres, puddings and other delights from pagan cuisine !
Maeve's Magic is a local, sustainable apothecary and small catering business. Return to the sources of tradition, folk-lore and savoir-faire through recipes that have been lovingly preserved and transmitted since centuries past. Very limited attendance, only 14 guests !
