The Mixing Bowl
About this Event
This event is for youths between the ages of 12 to 18 years old.
Participants will get together to explore the joys of creating different dishes, treats and snacks that are both healthy and tasty. Come explore different taste, smell and cultures as we enbake on a culinary jouney that spans countries, cuisine and techniques as we discover food of different types. From baking to cooking, from hot to cold dishes, from sweet to salty, we will try them all.
Learning Objectives:
This course allows participants to:
- Create a variety of different food, learning step by step on the creation of such products.
- Develop greater self confidence as you prepare and make your own
- Enjoy a sense of accomplishment as you create your own work
