Session 2: The Anatomy of Spirit: Ego, Aura, and the Chakra SystemIn this session, we map the "subtle body"—the layers of energy that exist beyond our physical skin. We will explore how our Ego acts as a filter for our Life Force (Chi or Prana) and how that energy manifests in our Aura and settles within the Chakras.
1. The Aura: Your Energetic Signature
The Aura is the electromagnetic field surrounding the body. It is the first point of contact between your internal world and the external environment.
The Ego’s Influence: When the ego is in a state of fear or defensiveness, the aura may "contract" or become jagged. When we are in a state of love, it expands.
Sensing the Field: We will discuss how to become aware of your own "space" and how you "read" the energy of others.
2. The Chakras: Our Internal Power Stations
If the Aura is our atmosphere, the Chakras are our engines. We begin our introduction to these seven primary energy centers that align along the spine.
The Root of Experience: We will focus on the lower chakras and how they relate to our egoic needs for security, tribal belonging, and personal power.
Alignment vs. Blockage: Understanding how "stuck" emotions or egoic loops can create "sludge" in these spinning wheels of light.
3. Directing the Life Force (Reiki, Chi, Prana)
We will explore the concept of the "Universal Life Force" as the fuel for this entire system.
The Flow: How to use breath and intention to move Prana through the chakras to cleanse the aura.
Ego as the Dam: Recognizing that the ego's desire to "control" life often acts as the primary blockage to our natural energetic flow.
