Where: St. Catherine’s Church Hall, Kings Road, Pontcanna, Cardiff, CF11 9DE
Cost: £10 - advance booking essential
The Anglo-Saxons called the month of November “Windmonath,” meaning “wind month,” due to the strong winds typical of this time of year. On a calmer and far more comforting note on 15th November Gail Stewart will be presenting her next Sound Journey at Pontcanna where you can bask in the warmth of her expertly blended array of uplifting sounds. You are cordially invited to join us to benefit from the magic of Gail’s performance - Anglo-Saxons are not being invited as they may cause trouble!
Gail is an experienced, respected and very popular Sound Journey facilitator. A Sound Journey offers a recuperative process that can quiet your mind and, at the same time, help relax your body! It is a most wonderful and joyful experience to simply lie back and be restored by the wizardry of the interwoven sound vibrations! Gail's presentation will be beautifully complemented and enhanced by Susie Verran.
A Sound Journey is essentially a therapeutic musical performance played out through Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, and a variety of other, often unusual, sound-producing instruments complemented by the human voice. Participants lie on the floor and allow the waves of sound to flow over, embrace and permeate them.
At the event, ensure that you make yourself comfortable! Ideally, please bring something soft, supportive and snug to lie on including a head support and also something warm to cover you. To enhance your experience, you may also wish to bring your own eye mask to help block out the light.
The cost is £10 cash on arrival and advance booking is essential. To book or if you have any queries, please ring or text Gail Stewart on 07726 360584 or email her at [email protected] Free parking is available on site.
We look forward to being with and sharing the benefits of this Sound Journey with you. Thank you.
