May is the peak spring month in the Northern Hemisphere and is famously associated with the start of summer, May Day, and the birth flowers, Lily-of-the-Valley and Hawthorn. May also includes No Socks Day encouraging people to give their feet a break and enjoy the feeling of freedom from footwear! Another very important date this May is the 10th! Why? Because Gail Stewart will be delivering the next of her invariably well-received Sound Journeys at Pontcanna to which you are invited; come along and reap its many benefits…. and it’s OK to wear socks!!
Gail is an experienced, respected and very popular Sound Journey facilitator. A Sound Journey offers a healing process that can quiet your mind and, at the same time, help relax your body! It is a most wonderful and joyful experience to simply lie back and be healed by the wizardry of the interwoven sound vibrations! Gail's presentation will be beautifully complemented and enhanced by Susie Verran.
A Sound Journey is essentially a healing musical performance played out through Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, and a variety of other, often unusual, sound-producing instruments complemented by the human voice. Participants lie on the floor and allow the waves of sound to flow over, embrace and permeate them.
At the event, ensure that you make yourself comfortable! Ideally, please bring something soft, supportive and snug to lie on including a head support and also something warm to cover you. To enhance your experience, you may also wish to bring an eye mask to help block out the light.

This will allow us time to complete the registration process and will also provide you with the opportunity to prepare your chosen spot in the hall.
