Sound Bath in the Tiffany Gallery
About this Event
What is a sound bath? No water, no experience needed, just rest. You lie back, close your eyes, and let calming tones from singing bowls, gongs, and chimes wash over you, all beneath the glow of the stained glass windows in the Tiffany Gallery. There’s nothing to do or get right. Just listen, breathe, and see the museum in a whole new light.
Sound baths are offered on the third and fourth Saturdays most months. Dates occasionally shift, so check our calendar for upcoming sessions and to reserve your spot..
Sessions are guided by our wonderful resident sound practitioners, whose care and skill make each session a calm, welcoming experience. Third Saturday sessions are typically guided by Emme Day, and fourth Saturday sessions by Emma Olmedo, our resident sound practitioners, with occasional guest facilitators.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat and blanket (an eye pillow is nice, too), and come ready to unwind.
