Ever feel like everyone thinks you have it together—but secretly, you're afraid they'll find out you're just making it up as you go?
About this Event

What if they find out you have no idea what you're doing?

Maybe you've felt it.

Everyone else seems confident. They know what they're doing. They have a plan.

And then there's you—quietly wondering:

“How did I get here?”
“Am I actually good enough?”
“What if they realize I'm not as capable as they think?”

Maybe you've achieved things, earned the degree, got the job, built the career—or simply convinced everyone that you've got it together.

But somewhere inside, there's still that voice:

“What if I'm a fake?”

Can I be for Real - Can I be a Monk?

Can I live in this world but not be of this world?

Join us for Soul Yoga Fest, an evening of music, reflection, journaling, meaningful conversation, and community as we explore imposter syndrome, self-doubt, comparison, and the exhausting fear of being “found out.”

We'll begin with an immersive Kirtan Soundbath—a chance to step away from the noise, quiet the constant mental commentary, and arrive in the present through mantra, music, and collective sound.

Reflect & Journal

Before we start talking, we'll take some time to look inward.

What are you afraid people will discover about you?
Where do you feel like you're pretending?
Whose approval are you still trying to earn?
And what would change if you stopped measuring yourself against everyone else?

Through guided journaling prompts, you'll have space to explore the thoughts you don't always say out loud.

Then we'll dive into a deep, honest, and thought-provoking conversation.

Is imposter syndrome always just self-doubt—or is there sometimes a real gap between who we are and who we're pretending to be? Why can external success fail to make us feel confident? And if everyone is trying to “fake it till they make it,” what does being authentic even mean?

No lectures. No pretending to have all the answers. Just real questions, different perspectives, timeless wisdom, and honest conversation.

And because deep conversations are even better around good food, we'll share a delicious vegan meal and connect with new people in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Come for the Kirtan Soundbath.
Reflect through journaling.
Stay for the conversation.
Leave questioning whether you're really a fake—or just human.

Come as you are. No need to have it all figured out.
