Reiki Share

Reiki share, also known as Reiki circle or exchange, is a gathering of like-minded Reiki practitioners who participate in group healing treatments on each other. A Reiki share is an opportunity for former students and members of the community who have studied Reiki at level One or up to get together and work with the healing energies as a group. Students practice grounding, meditation, scanning energy, protection, healing techniques and intuitive readings.

INFO: This is a $21 donation based class. Proceeds go to Healing Hands Reiki and Spiritual Development Inc. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Therefore, all donations are tax deductible. Must register on Eventbrite or by phone at least hour before the class. Please attend the next scheduled class if you are more than 5 minutes late. NO SHOES ARE ALLOWED IN THE SHALA. SHOES MUST BE PLACED IN THE SHOE AREA.

The Reiki self-treatment and Reiki treatment of others supports individuals in establishing and maintaining a state of well-being through holistic practices, and through recognizing the connection of Mind, Body, Emotion and Spirit.

Attention is focused on the importance of balance and alignment within the human energy system, the effectiveness of living life consciously, and the influence of Natural Laws.

By attending this class, you agree to the following:

You are participating in the Reiki Share/Reiki Training Class /Reiki Session offered by any of the instructors (or associates) at HEALING HANDS REIKI AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT INC., during which you will receive information about practicing Reiki. You accept the responsibility to assess the appropriateness of your participation throughout this Reiki Share/Reiki Training Class/Reiki Session and any other participation.

You understand that a Reiki session is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique that is used for the purpose of stress reduction and relaxation. In alignment with the teachings of Reiki tradition, you recognize that the quality of self-awareness (including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) you bring to your Reiki experience, is central to how your experience unfolds, evolves, and is received and evaluated by you.

You assume full responsibility for any benefits, miracles, inspiration, vitality, and success, AS WELL AS, risks, injuries or challenges, known or unknown, which you might incur as a result of participating in Reiki Share/Reiki Training Class/Reiki Session. You also waive any claim/credit you may have against/for the instructor, his/her associates, or anyone you may assess as related to your experience with the practice/workshop/class, for these benefits, miracles, inspiration, vitality, and success, AS WELL AS, injury or challenges that you may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

You understand very clearly that a Reiki session is not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment, and that Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. You understand that Reiki does not take the place of medical care. You understand that it is recommended that you see a licensed physician or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological aliment you may have.

You understand that Reiki can complement any medical or psychological care you may be receiving. You also understand that Reiki is a form of non-invasive and non-manipulative touch. You also understand that the body has the ability to heal itself and to do so, complete relaxation is often beneficial. You acknowledge that long term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions in order to facilitate the level of relaxation needed by the body to heal itself.

You understand that if you are uncomfortable in any way during your Reiki session you have the right to question your Reiki practitioner and/or request that the session be terminated. If you experience any pain or discomfort during the session, you will immediately inform your practitioner so that the pressure and/or touch may be adjusted to your level of comfort. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by you will result in immediate termination of the session, and you will be liable for payment of the scheduled Reiki Session/Reiki Share/Reiki Training Class. You understand that comfortable clothing is required to wear at all times during your session. You affirm that you have stated all known medical conditions and answered all questions honestly. You agree to keep the Reiki Practitioner updated as to any changes in your medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the Reiki Practitioner’s part should you fail to do so.

You, your heirs or legal representatives, forever release, waive, and discharge the Reiki Practitioner and his/her associates for any benefits that may come from their skillful and benevolent presence OR any negligence or other acts. You have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. If you feel you do not understand its contents, you affirm that you have clarified any misunderstanding (with the Reiki Practitioner) prior to signing this document. You accept and state that this waiver is applicable to any class you engage in with the instructors, at this location, from this day forward.

In the event of a dispute between the Operator and the Reiki Share /Reiki Training Class/Reiki Participant concerning the interpretation of any provision of this agreement, such matter or matters in dispute shall be finally settled:

a. by three arbitrators, one appointed by each Party, and the third, who shall be the chairman, selected by the two appointed arbitrators.

b. the language of the arbitration shall be English; and

c. the place of the arbitration shall be an agreed upon location other than “Ashtanga Yoga Atlanta”, 27 Waddell St NE, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30307

You have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. You voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
