Step into a warm, sacred space where Conscious Connected Breathwork meets a deeply restful Sound Spa. This immersive evening weaves breath and vibration into a profound inner journey that brings calm, clarity, and a deep sense of presence. Tickets £38
We’re delighted to be collaborating with Helen Hadden, a Breathwork Practitioner trained by Seven Directions Breathwork and accredited by the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF). Helen will guide you through conscious breathing techniques that support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
With gentle guidance through voice and music, you’ll be supported into a circular breathing rhythm that softens the nervous system and quiets the mind. The breath becomes your anchor — grounding you in the present moment, inviting emotional release, and opening space for inner stillness.
As the gong’s vibrations wash through the body, mental chatter dissolves. The synergy of breath and sound amplifies the effects of both practices, gently guiding you inward — where time slips away and you’re free to simply be.
No experience is necessary, just an open heart and comfortable clothing. This is a small gathering, so tickets are limited.
After the journey, we’ll gather with herbal teas and a little chocolate to ground the senses, with space to connect and share.
Wellness Benefits of Conscious Connected Breathwork
Calms the nervous system by shifting the body into a parasympathetic state
Reduces stress and anxiety by releasing energetic tension and stored emotion
Improves emotional clarity through deeper awareness of thoughts and feelings
Enhances lung capacity & oxygen flow, supporting overall vitality
Promotes deeper sleep and relaxation, helping restore balance and resilience
What is a Sound Spa?
A Sound Spa (also called a Gong Bath or Sound Bath) is a powerful, immersive meditation experience that invites you into deep relaxation and peace. The soothing vibrations of the gongs help release emotional and energetic blockages, promoting healing on a cellular level and enhancing your overall wellbeing.
As the gong’s sounds gently slow down your brainwaves, you’ll enter a dreamlike state, perfect for an inner journey where time slips away, and you’re free to simply “be” and resonate with the healing vibrations.
What happens during a Sound Spa?
A Sound Spa is a deeply relaxing, sonic meditative journey that takes you to a place of calm and renewal. As you lie down comfortably with your eyes closed, I’ll play healing instruments around you, each chosen for its unique, vibrational frequencies. You’re free to get cosy, let go, and allow yourself to drift wherever the sound takes you!
Benefits of a Sound Spa
Feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and fully refreshed
Experience a deeper focus and presence
Reduce stress and enhance your ability to handle life’s challenges
Improve sleep quality and restfulness
Boost creativity and problem-solving
Release emotional blockages, leaving you feeling lighter and balanced
Some useful tips
We’ll start by settling in, so please arrive a little early to get comfortable. Feel free to take photographs at the start, if you share, do tag us @thechilternsoundspa, but remember to switch phones to aeroplane mode to keep the space peaceful and distraction-free.
I do have a little shop selling shamanic Florida water, so either bring cash or a card if you would like to purchase anything.
Since breathwork can cause temperature changes, it's a good idea to have an extra layer to hand and cosy socks.
It’s advisable not to eat a heavy meal before coming, and to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
What to bring
For ultimate cosiness, wear loose-fitting clothes and don’t forget a yoga mat or camping mat, blanket, pillow, and maybe an eye mask if you’ve got one (and yes, warm socks are a cosy bonus!).
We’ll be doing some journaling, so bring along a favourite notebook and pen to capture any thoughts, feelings, or ideas that come up. You’re also welcome to bring any crystals that resonate with you. And of course, pack a bottle of water to stay refreshed throughout!
