SOFLO LOCO Closing Night

Five shows, one jam, and the last night of the first improv festival Miami Lakes has ever had. Sunday runs from five o'clock straight through to midnight, and none of it is written down.

5:00 PM — Future Memories Show / Cuzzins A double bill to open the night. Two teams, back to back, no reset in between.

6:00 PM — Not So Furious 5 Musical Improv / Antonio Quintana Musical improv makes up the songs as it goes — melody, rhyme, and all — with motivational speaker Antonio Quintana sharing the hour.

7:00 PM — ImprovNovela A fully improvised Spanish-language telenovela. Every betrayal, slap and dramatic pause invented on the spot.

8:00 PM — OHW Improv Carlos Hernandez, Oscar Diaz, Rebecca Diaz, KC Korge and Michelle Castro on one stage together.

9:00 PM — Short Round Presents: Mainstreet Madness Ninety minutes from the house team, closing out the festival in the theater that started it.

10:30 PM — Jam Finale (Free) The last scene of the first SOFLO LOCO. Festival artists, local performers, workshop students from all four days, and anyone else who wants to get up — all pulled from the same hat until midnight. Free and open to everyone.

All classes and shows will take place at the Main Street Playhouse, 6812 Main St. Miami Lakes, FL 33014.

There will be 10 amazing workshop classes to choose from (just $40 each) and over 18 shows from some of the MOST TALENTED, hilarious, and experienced improv teams and players in Miami, Broward and West Palm!!!

Participating teams include Short Round Improv, Clutch Comedy, Cuzzins, Unmitigated Disaster, P.E., This is Improv, ImprovNovella and talented players from theaters around city including JTF, This New River Theater, Tag l-In Theater and talented performer/teachers like Elena Maria Garcia, Carlos Hernandez, Oscar Diaz, Jeff Quitana, KC Korge, Rebecca Diaz, Michelle Castro, Gaby Fernandez, Juan Espinosa & more!

Packed full of 5 or more shows each night for just $25 each night, these shows are sure to sell out fast!

PLUS there will be FREE jams that YOU can play in at the end of each night! And it all caps off with our insane Sept. Mainstreet Madness show, “Escape from Shizzney World!!!”
