Circle Up: Honor and Harvest
To honor someone is not to agree with everything they say, it’s to respect yourself.
About this Event
In a world that often teaches us to defend, judge, compete, withdraw, or prove ourselves right, this circle invites men and women into a different kind of conversation.
Together, we will explore what honor looks like in our relationships with one another, with ourselves, and with the people we love.
We will ask:
What does it mean for a man to feel honored by a woman?
What does it mean for a woman to feel cherished by a man?
How do respect, trust, responsibility, protection, appreciation, and truth shape our relationships?
Where have we confused honor with obedience, approval, control, or silence?
How do we remain honorable when we are angry, disappointed, hurt, or in conflict?
And perhaps most importantly:
How do we become people who are worthy of one another's trust?
It is an opportunity to hear one another.
To speak honestly.
To become curious about experiences different from our own.
To examine the ways we give honor, withhold it, earn it, lose it, and restore it.
Through breath, meditation, mivebt, sound, guided conversation, reflection, and shared dialogue, we will explore the small behaviors that communicate something much larger:
I see you.
I respect you.
Your experience matters.
And I can honor you without abandoning myself.
Come as you are.
Bring your questions, your experiences, your wisdom, and your willingness to listen.
Because healthier relationships do not begin when we finally understand the opposite sex.
They begin when we learn how to see the human being standing in front of us.
Honor is not something we demand from one another.
It is something we practice with one another.
