To celebrate Earth Day, Smart Planet, an Altman Plants brand available exclusively at The Home Depot, will be hosting Milkweed plant giveaway events at select Home Depot store locations. At the events, young native milkweed plants will be given away to customers who stop by the Smart Planet booth.Milkweed plants help protect the diminishing Monarch butterfly population and create breeding habitats for Monarchs—all while providing food and shelter for other wildlife and pollinators. Planting Milkweed in monarch breeding areas is one way we can help grow the Monarch population.
Join Smart Planet at The Home Depot starting at 10am to pick up a milkweed plant and learn more about creating environmentally friendly gardens that benefit Monarch butterflies, other pollinators and wildlife, and our surrounding world!
