From health benefits for babies to physical and emotional benefits for parents, we'll explore how breastfeeding can support bonding and long-term well-being of both parents and babies.
Come join us for conversation with breastfeeding parents (current, future, or past) to talk out ideas and gain evidence based information. We would love to see you!
All expectant and new parents interested in breastfeeding, chestfeeding or human milk feeding are welcome to attend monthly Group meetings. Our priority is always to answer questions of those in attendance and meet people where they are at! Anytime is a good time to come to a La Leche League meeting; when pregnant, with a new baby, returning to paid work or when considering weaning. No matter where you may be in your journey, LLLC is here for you.
While a series of four meetings with the following topics is rotated throughout the year, the specific content varies significantly depending on the current focus and the needs of those present
Meeting 1: The Advantages of Breastfeeding to Mother and Baby
Meeting 2: Baby Arrives: The Family and the Breastfed Baby
Meeting 3: The Art of Breastfeeding and Avoiding Difficulties
