REWARDS ARE MANY for those who take the time to see, hear, and feel the power and elegance of Sanskrit. Those interested in yoga philosophy particularly benefit from this study.
This weekend workshop will give you intimate familiarity with the unique points of resonance in your own palate that support Sanskrit’s sacred sounds. And you’ll be firmly grounded in the proper pronunciation of this ancient language.
Along the way you’ll learn the alphabet—itself a lovely chant—and you’ll receive the tools you need to explore your favorite sutras and chants in the beautiful script of Sanskrit; Devanāgarī.
The teaching method of this class was developed over many years by Vyaas Houston of the American Sanskrit Institute, which makes learning Sanskrit stress-free and FUN!
November 16th 12-6pm & November 17th 12-4pm
Investment: $300/weekend or $500/levels 1 & 2

Erik started practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 2009. He has taken several teacher training workshops with Manju Jois and is authorized by him to teach the Primary and Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
In 2008, as part of the Yogawood 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, he took a Sanskrit Immersion weekend with a teacher from the American Sanskrit Institute (ASI).
