Help Build the Phoenixville Fire BirdWhile the road to the park LOOKS closed, you can access the field - go through the warning signs and turn right at the end of Mowere Road!
Date: Saturdays and Sundays Only – we don’t work weekdays!
Time: 10a-6p
Location: Veteran’s Memorial Park, 192 Mowere Rd, Phoenixville PA 19460
Who can volunteer?
- All ages and abilities are welcome
- No experience necessary
- All time is appreciated - Come for an hour, come for the day
What to expect:
- Hands-on experience with guidance from talented tradesmen
- Using tools! If you have them (e.g., pry bars, hammers), feel free to bring them
- Community spirit and lots of great people!
What we ask:
- We require everyone to sign a disclaimer each year. Volunteers under 18 years of age will need at least one parent to submit a disclaimer and accompany the minor
- Please wear closed-toed shoes!
- Watch the weather and dress appropriately.
- Please bring work gloves and, if you need, safety goggles
- Bring water and snacks - while we try to have snacks on hand and lunch can be donated, it's good to be prepared with enough food and water for your stay!
- Please bring non-disposable eating utensils
