Rosh Chodesh Tevet - New Moon Ceremony

Rosh Chodesh, a women's gathering common in Jewish traditional practice, is observed every month of the Hebrew calendar, marked by the birth of a new moon. Join us on January 1st, as the new moon of the Hebrew month of Tevet coincides with the beginning of the new secular year as well as the 7th night of Chanukah.

We will celebrate Rosh Chodesh with chanting, meditation, and ritual to express our visions and kavanah (intentions) for the new month and the new year.

The gathering is facilitated by Rhonda Mason and Judith Bragar. Rhonda is a psychotherapist, spiritual coach, Soul Memory Facilitator and spiritual leader of Shir Ha Yam, a Jewish Renewal Chavurah. Judith is a psychotherapist and psychospiritual counselor who for years has celebrated different forms of ritual with women.
