We’re very pleased to be welcoming Elise to the Dhamma Centre to guide a bi-weekly Qigong practice — a gentle yet deeply restorative form of movement rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is often described as moving meditation. Through slow, flowing movements, coordinated breathing, and quiet attention, the practice helps restore balance between body and mind. It’s simple, accessible, and surprisingly powerful in its effects.
Elise brings decades of experience to this practice. She studied Qi Gong during her clinical training in China and has been teaching the form ever since, sharing it across community spaces, health settings, and private classes throughout the UK. 
The movements are gentle and adaptable, making the class suitable whether you are completely new to Qigong or returning to deepen an existing practice.
Expect a calm hour of mindful movement, breathing, and quiet focus — leaving you feeling more grounded, relaxed, and energised.
