Prenatal Yoga: Advanced Teacher Training (CE Credits or 300hr Pathway)
This course offers foundational preparation and a practical base for teaching hapū students in all stages of pregnancy in public yoga classes.

*Pelvic floor anatomy and its relevance to yoga practice
*Birth-supportive movement and positioning
*Common pregnancy ailments and how to adapt your teaching
*Contraindications and safety considerations
*Inclusive, trauma-aware cueing for pregnant students

Take this course as a standalone workshop for professional development *OR* as 15 credits towards AWHI Yoga School's 300-hour Vinyasa Certification. Anyone registered with Yoga Alliance can also take the course for 15 CE credits!

Facilitator:
Marcelly Ribeiro (she/her; they/them) is a Brazilian-born yoga teacher and dancer based in Aotearoa New Zealand for the past 10 years. She holds a degree in Physical Education, 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings, and certifications in Childbirth Education, Doula support, and Active Birth. Her teaching blends alignment-based yoga with the fluidity and expression of dance, reflecting her belief that both practices are powerful tools for connection, presence, and self-awareness. Specialising in prenatal yoga, Marcelly integrates asana, pranayama, and birth education to support women in preparing their bodies and minds for labour.
