About this Event

Description

Join us at The Skript Kitchen for a comforting and hands on cooking class focused on one of Mexico’s most beloved traditional dishes: pozole.

Led by Mexican Chef Alan, this class will guide you through the process of preparing authentic pozole completely from scratch. Pozole is a rich and deeply comforting Mexican soup traditionally served during celebrations, holidays and family gatherings across Mexico.

In this class, you will learn how to build a flavourful chile based broth, properly prepare and season the protein (vegetarian options available), and finish the dish with the classic garnishes that bring freshness, brightness and balance to every bowl.

The meal will be served alongside traditional Agua de Jamaica, a refreshing hibiscus drink commonly enjoyed throughout Mexico.

What you will learn:

• Preparing traditional chile based broths
• Building flavour through slow cooking
• Proper use of garnishes and finishing touches
• Tips for serving pozole for gatherings and events

After cooking, everyone will sit down together to enjoy the meal family style.

All ingredients and equipment are included. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are available upon request.
