Portrait | Acrylic Path Series
About this Event
In this guided acrylic workshop, you'll study basic facial proportions and structure, looking at how light and shadow help create volume and expression. You'll also experiment with different painting techniques, including soft and hard edges, sfumato, dry brush and palette knife work.
Through practical exercises and step-by-step guidance, you'll develop a better understanding of how to build a portrait and capture the character of your subject.
Suitable for beginners and those looking to develop their portrait painting skills. All materials are provided.
What to bring
Please bring a clear photograph of your own cat or dog, preferably one where the face and fur are clearly visible. Reference images will also be available if you don't have a pet photograph.
Suitable for beginners. All painting materials are provided.
