Kurilpa Reach & Fat Picnic CO-HEADLINER

For the first time ever, Kurilpa Reach & Fat Picnic are teaming up for a Co-Headline hometown extravaganza, all taking place at West Ends iconic Mirrorball Ministries! Don’t miss out on witnessing history!
Kurilpa Reach are an enigmatic 7-piece band born out of Meanjin’s (Brisbane) vibrant music scene. Blending the writing sensibilities of indie rock and neo-soul with the groove of roots, rock, and reggae, they’ve carved out a reputation as a versatile powerhouse with an undeniable ability to move any crowd they step in front of, having toured with bands like UB40 ft Ali Campbell, Six60, South Summit, The Cat Empire
Corrupted by a lust for groove with scars from Ska to show, 6-piece soul-splosion Fat Picnic are unanimously hailed as Brisbane's premier high-energy party band. Their infectious energy, humour and every-genre-in attitude garnishes punchy horn lines and catchy choruses on a base of skank-funk, dub reggae, pop hooks and headbanging - culminating in a sweaty festival fiasco at every show.
