About this Event
Would you know what to do if your pet stops breathing and has no heartbeat?
Are you ready if your pet starts choking or has a seizure? Can you recognize the signs of life-threatening conditions like bloat, a urinary blockage or heatstroke?
Crossroads Pets is offering a Pet First Aid + CPR class to help you learn what to do in the event of a pet medical emergency. You don’t need any previous medical training to attend.
Receive:
- 2-hour, in-person class
- Hands-on practice in pet CPR and mouth-to-snout rescue breathing
- Skills to clear a blocked airway, treat severe allergic reactions, poisoning, heatstroke, and cuts and wounds
- Information on handling seizures, bloat and stomach twist, urinary blockages and other life-threatening situations.
- Tips on ways to avoid hazards and keep your four-legged family members safe and healthy
- Instructions on keeping yourself safe when caring for an injured animal
