Parent/Carer Autism Workshops (13 & Above)

Are you finding it hard to support your young person in areas such as education, work, leaving the house and socialising?

Autus are offering a course of 4 workshops toparent/Carers of autistic teenagers (13+)/young adults.

Over the 4 sessions we will be focusing on:

• Anxiety – how it can manifest as shutdown
• How to communicate without pressure
• Barriers to making change
• Looking into reasons behind behaviour
• How to help find motivation

If you are worried about how your young person will manage as they are getting older, this course aims to develop your understanding and provide you with strategies to help support them.The series of four workshops run on the following dates:

• Wed 13th May
• Wed 20th May
• Half Term Break
• Wed 3rd June
• Wed 10th June
