Creative workshop with ATMA, University of Cumbria and BarrowFull! Part 1/2

Join ATMA, University of Cumbria and BarrowFull for a fun workshop designed to spark dialogue between the people of Barrow and the University of Cumbria, as the town welcomes its new campus on Buccleuch Dock Road.

Led by , an international street artist who created the B Magic mural, in Barrow Town Centre (on Furness Business Hub) - this initial workshop will start with discussions around what we love about Barrow, what makes us proud to be here, where we see Barrow in the future, and how the new University campus might positively impact the community. If you would like to bring along photos or objects that could inspire the conversation, please feel free to. It's also fine not to do this.

The focus of this workshop will be ideas development, followed by a , where we will begin to create images that could be part of the final murals. No experience needed, you don’t need to have done anything like this before (but also great if you have).

This event is open to anyone who lives, works, studies, or is part of the community in Barrow-in-Furness. The workshop is aimed at adults, but please get in touch if you’d like to come but you’d need to bring children/young people with you, or anything else and we can discuss and book you a place – everyone’s welcome.
