About this Event
The Nursing, Midwifery, and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) Digital Innovation Festival is a one‑day networking and knowledge exchange event bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and digital innovators to explore how digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and collaborative approaches are shaping the future of health and care.
The festival will showcase and critically discuss research, innovation, education, and real-world applications across nursing, midwifery, and allied health professions, with a strong focus on advancing practice, artificial intelligence, collaborative approaches, and addressing digital inequalities.
The festival is proudly supported by The University of Salford and industry partner, Future Nurse.
Event highlights:
- Three-Minute PhD/DProf Thesis session with inspiring examples from clinical practice
- Keynote talks on digital innovation and its impact on patient care
- Networking and refreshments to close the day

- Helen Balsdon, Chief Nursing information Officer at NHS England.
- Prabha Vijayakumar, National Chief AHP Information Officer
This event is free. It is a chance to network with senior nurse and AHP digital leaders and hear the latest research and trends in digital nursing theory and practice.
