About this Event
Join us for a casual, slower-paced nighttime tour of Caltech and points east, as we explore some of Pasadena's leafy eastern neighborhoods. This is an 11 mile ride with about 400 feet of elevation gain, good for riders with at least some experience, and kids 12 and older. We meet at 6:30 p.m. and roll promptly at 7.
REQUIRED GEAR:
- Bike
- Helmet
- Front and rear lights
Please ensure that your bike is in good working condition. Recommended items to bring: BIKE LIGHTS, water, a spare tube, tire levers, bike multi-tool and pump. Helmets are encouraged for all, and required for riders under 18. A limited number of bike lights are available for loan.
Notes: You MUST sign a waiver when you arrive. Helmets are required by state law for anyone under 18. No training wheels permitted. Children riding on their own should remain with parents at all times, have experience riding with a group, and be able to average 12 mph. Younger children and/or pets are welcome so long as they are riding safely in a trailer, on a family cargo bike, etc.
