Hike OR Trail Run to Jones’ Peak

This month we are letting you CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE for your journey up to Jones' Peak! We are teaming up with Los Loros Locos to give you the option of either hiking with DHRC at a moderate pace, or trail running with the WPBC crew up to the peak!Date: Saturday, September 21st
Time: 7:30am (hike/run starts at 7:45am!)
Difficulty: Hard. 5.7 miles with 2,300 ft elevation gain
Duration: Approximately 4 hours if hiking, 2-3 hours if trail running.
Meeting Location: Bailey Canyon Park, 451 W Carter Ave, Sierra Madre, CA
Parking: Small parking lot and street parking, read street signs.
Items to bring: Hiking or trail shoes, sunblock, hat, lunch, snacks, electrolytes.
AT LEAST 2 LITERS OF WATER per person (it'll probably be hot out there!)
Pets: Dogs are allowed, but if the weather is 80+ degrees on this day, we do not recommended bringing dogs on this hike.
