About this Event
Meet Nigerian Dwarf baby goats Goldie & Lexie and rescued yearling goats, Hansel & Gretel, for a fun, light-hearted yoga session on the rear lawn of the Historic Gamble House, known for its iconic craftsman architecture by Greene & Greene.
Also known as Doc Emmett Brown's mansion in the movie "Back to the Future". This experience might just help you connect with your “inner kid” as you are guided through a goat-friendly yoga sequence, taught by certified instructor, Tina Lenert.
Suitable for all levels; whether you're trying yoga for the first time or an experienced practitioner looking to challenge your practice- this class is designed to widen your smile, open your heart, deepen your stretch, strengthen your core and test your balance.

GOATS WILL BE GOATS
- Goats can leave their "blessings" anywhere at any time...LUCKILY they are vegan so their dry, coffee bean-like droppings are virtually scent free & biodegradable.
- Participants who'd rather not have their yoga mats “autographed” by goats, can bring a beach towel to use instead or rent a used-sanitized yoga mat for $5 each.
- Goats have no boundaries! Please clear away anything you'd rather not have climbed on, nibbled on, or "blessed" by goats!
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
- We recommend participants weigh at least 65 lbs.
- Bring drinking water to stay hydrated.
- Wear a hat or hoody to protect your hair from being trimmed by baby goats!
- Wear a shirt that protects your back from goat hooves.
- Remove loose jewelry before participating.
- We love all animals, but the presence of unfamiliar animals can be stressful for the goats; we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home.
ABOUT US
Hello Critter Goats are the beloved "kids" of Michelle, the "Goat Mama" (she doesn't have the human variety of children!) She has, however, enjoyed caring for pet goats since the eighties. Over time, she has had the opportunity to help at-risk, displaced and mistreated goats find safe, happy homes. For Michelle, the well-being of goats always comes first. As highly intelligent, curious, and social animals, Michelle's kids enjoy traveling to goat-friendly locations to experience the world outside of their barnyard. Their sense of adventure inspires them to hop into their “barn on wheels” and go for a ride where they arrive and thrive from interacting with diverse people, places & things. The stimulation of new sites, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes, enhances their mood, as well as those who they encounter along the way! Only the goats who wish to go on adventures attend Hello Critter events. Standing at the gate, when they are called, is their way of expressing their desire to join the fun, whether it be a yoga session, sound bath, hike, river walk, play date, creative workshop, or a senior community/school visit. The goats who choose to stay behind, enjoy relaxing, playing & eating around their goat yard complete with a custom clubhouse built for their enrichment. All of our goats (Roscoe, Floyd, Billy, Burlap, Fanny, Lil'bit, Gigi, Felix, Hansel, Gretel, Goldie & Lexie ) are highly valued, sentient beings. Their individual needs are met throughout each day to ensure that they are healthy, happy, well-cared for & deeply loved. Visit our website to learn more about them. www.hellocritter.com
