About this Event
Gather a team of three from among your family and friends for this Mini TeleMatch Pokémon UNITE. We encourage the participation of parent-child, siblings, cousins, family and friends teams. You can also sign up as a solo registration and we will put you into a team.
ABOUT MINI TELEMATCH
Mini TeleMatch is a streamlined and intense version of TeleMatch. Each TeleMatch is about an hour, featuring four teams competing against one another in a round-robin, best-of-one format. This structure ensures that each team plays three matches against different opponents during the Mini TeleMatch. The victorious team emerges as the one with the most number of wins. However, should a tie occur, the team within the draw that has accumulated the highest score will be declared the winner.
Game Mode: Custom Battle - Auroma Park (3v3)
TEAM REGISTRATION
- Each team is allowed to register for one Mini TeleMatch per day. Teams interested in playing more than one match can sign up as standby teams.
- We will need contact details of the captain of the team for administration purposes. We will need the name, age and also relationship with the captain, e.g. friend, child or cousin for the other 2 players.
- If you are unable to make it for the TeleMatch you have registered, please inform us as soon as possible.
SOLO REGISTRATION
- Each player is allowed to register for one Mini TeleMatch per day. Players interested in playing more than one match can sign up as standby players.
- For each Mini TeleMatch, one out of four teams is allocated to either solo registrants or walk-ins, those who register at the booth during the festival.
- Kindly arrive 15 minutes before the TeleMatch begins. We will make every effort to accommodate your participation. However, if we are unable to do so, we will place you in the subsequent TeleMatches when a slot is available
REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TELEMATCH
- Report to the Tencent + COMEBACK booth at the Digital for Life Festival in VivoCity 15 minutes before your scheduled TeleMatch time.
- All players must be present at the reporting time. Failure to have all 3 players present may result in your slot being given to another team.
- The 15-minute reporting period is intended for teams to resolve any administrative or technical issues and ensure your comfort before the TeleMatch begins. Briefing about the TeleMatch will also be done during this 15-minute.
- Punctuality is essential to avoid delaying subsequent TeleMatches.
STANDBY REGISTRATION FOR ADDITIONAL MATCHES:
- Each team is allowed to register for one Mini TeleMatch per day. Teams interested in playing more than one match can sign up as standby teams.
- If a registered team is unable to play, a standby team will be called upon to fill the slot.
- Teams wishing to be on standby should inform the COMEBACK Team at the booth during the day.
WINNING AND PRIZES:
- The winning team is the one with the most number of wins. However, should a tie occur, the team within the draw that has accumulated the highest score will be declared the winner.
- Each player of the winning team received your own Pokémon plushie.
- The COMEBACK Team's decision regarding the winners is final and cannot be contested.
- Upon the conclusion of each Mini TeleMatch, prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
- Before the TeleMatch, please download the Pokémon UNITE game onto your mobile devices (https://unite.pokemon.com/en-us/) and complete the in-game tutorial if you are new to the game.
- Each player on your team will require their own mobile device.
- Due to time constraints, we will NOT provide instructions on how to play Pokémon UNITE. If you are new to the game, we recommend searching for tutorial videos online before the TeleMatch. Learning with your family and friends can be fun!
- Please ensure that your mobile devices are fully charged and have enough battery life to last for the hour-long match. We have a limited number of power outlets for charging, and cables may not be long enough to reach all devices.
- Due to space constraints, we can only provide chairs and NOT tables. Please be prepared to play on your mobile device without a table.
