About this Event
For 2 nights only, international erhu virtuoso Abby Lee and pianist Yu-Jiun Huang will perform at Maduro bringing us beloved pieces such as Butterfly Lovers (梁祝) to jazz pieces such as Autumn Leaves and Misty, to a Tango piece with Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1, to the theme song of the Godfather, and many more.
Hailing from Taiwan, Abby's mastery of the erhu is bound to impress and delight with surprising blends of styles and contemporary reinterpretations of both traditional classics and favourites from various genres.
Abby graduated with a Master's Degree from The Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and is a talented multi-instrumentalist. She has performed in many high-key events such as the “Parade Brunssum” Arts Festival in the Netherlands (2024), the “Batumi Festival” in Georgia (2023), as a soloist in Tianjin's New Year's Eve concert (2019), and many others.
Fun fact - she had performed with JJ Lin on two occasions in 2018, “The Sounds of Snowfall" with JJ Lin on “Sound of My Dream S3” and “JJ Lin Sanctuary World Concert Tour”.
So if you're a JJ Lin fan, you might have heard some of those beautiful soulful strings before in his soundtracks!

To keep live music going and to support our artists and musicians, there is a minimum spend of $38++ per guest for all Maduro Music evenings.
Your ticket includes $38 credits to be used on beverages only and will be used to offset your beverage bill at the end of the evening.
Live music will begin at 8.30pm.
