LIDA Food: Data Lunch 'n' Crunch

Please join us for the first in our series of LIDA Food Lunch 'n' Crunch sessions, where we will have several speakers present on data analytics methods they have used in food-related research, and then an opportunity for discussion around these methods and how they could be applied in other work.

Our first session is around the theme of: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. These sessions are intended for researchers working in food-related research (which can span anything from agriculture, food science, manufacture, public health nutrition, epidemiology). The goal is to extend knowledge of analytics methods, and build networks for future collaboration.The event will be offered hybrid, but we encourage in-person attendance, and lunch will be provided by LIDA.The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

• Introductions (10-mins)
• Short talks on applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methods in Food-related research (45-mins)
• Discussion (20-mins)
• Collaboration/Grant opportunities (10-mins)
• Lunch (30-mins)

We have a number of in person tickets available and lunch will be provided. The event is hybrid so you also have the option to select and online ticket.

This is an internal event to the University of Leeds.
