About this Event
What do West Yorkshire’s music SMEs need to develop and thrive?
Join West Yorkshire Music Network for a panel discussion and Q&A with Cat Smith, Senior Manager for Yorkshire & Humber at the British Business Bank, followed by informal networking.
The British Business Bank supports small and medium-sized UK businesses by improving access to finance, offering funding programmes, and sharing practical guidance on raising investment.
The WYMN Commercial Development Group is being established to represent the region’s music businesses and improve access to finance. This session will explore the types of funding available, best practice when fundraising, and how music businesses can prepare for growth. Designed for music professionals, creatives and SMEs at all stages.
What are SMEs?
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are independent businesses, typically with fewer than 250 employees and defined by specific, lower turnover.
