Printing Workshop Continues with Stencil Making & Layering

The creative journey continues at Let’s Create Lounge! In this session, we’re diving into stencil making and layering techniques - perfect for adding depth, texture, and bold expression to your prints.

You’ll explore how to design and build your own stencils, including experimental methods like using a glue gun or acetate sheets to create one-off, textured designs. Then, bring your ideas to life through layering techniques that produce striking, multi-dimensional prints.

Whether you joined our previous block printing session or are jumping in fresh, this workshop is designed to be fun, relaxed, and accessible for everyone.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to create custom stencils from simple materials
• Using a glue gun and acetate sheets etc to craft unique, textured printing tools
• Layering techniques to build depth and visual interest
• Combining colours and shapes for dynamic compositions

What’s Included:

• All materials and tools (including glue guns & stencil supplies)
• Guidance from our friendly art teacher Linda
• Your own layered prints to take home
• A welcoming, creative community space

Who It’s For:
Open to all skill levels—perfect for beginners, returning participants, and anyone curious about experimental printmaking.

What to Bring:

• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy

In our next session (8th June) you can continue with your printing skills by practising on mixed media! Booking is separate and essential.

Exclusively for Rushcliffe 18 + residents registered with a Rushcliffe GP.
