Amiri Baraka’s Dutchman, directed by Dr. David L. Moody will run at Dunham Tavern Museum & Gardens from August 7 through August 9, 2026. Presented in arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

Curtain times are 7 p.m. Friday & Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday & Sunday. Seats are available for each performance at just $20 per person.

Dutchman is a one-act play written by Amiri Baraka (formerly known as LeRoi Jones) and first performed in 1964. It is a provocative and confrontational work that explores themes of racial identity, oppression, and the complexities of interracial relationships in America.
