Launch of Watershed Commonwealth River Poetry Anthology
About this Event
Join the Who Owns the Clyde team for the launch of Watershed Poetry Anthology - specially commissioned poetry from poets across the Commonwealth exploring river rights.
We will be joined by Commonwealth Poet Laureate Selina Tusitala Marsh, Scotland’s Makar Peter Mackay, actor Tam Dean Burn, poet RJ Arkhipov and a selection of Scotland’s Young Makars reading work exploring the theme of the Rights of Rivers. Look forward to an evening of poetry readings, discussion and collect a free copy of the Watershed Poetry anthology.
This is a unique opportunity to experience Selina Tusitala Marsh and Tam Dean Burn performing Selina's new poem, 'Two Rivers Walk into a Bar' a conversation between the Whanganui River and the River Clyde.
Curated by the Scottish Poetry Library and supported by the Commonwealth Foundation, Glasgow Life’s 2026 Festival Fund and British Council Scotland.
