The COOPERSTOWN COMMUNITY BAND is an all-volunteer organization that performs in and around the Cooperstown area. Most members live in the Otsego County area with Montgomery, Herkimer, Schoharie, Delaware, Chenango and other counties represented. The band traces its roots back to days of the Civil War and it is one of the longest continuing community bands in the country. The band plays a variety of music including patriotic marches and songs, show tunes, and other concert favorites.
