Needle Felted Flower Meadow Workshop

Discover your new favorite hobby as you learn how to create your own unique landscape completely out of wool! In this workshop, Grey Fox Felting will introduce you to the basic techniques of needle felting, as you are guided in creating a colorful meadow of flowers. Using a sheet of wool felt as the canvas, you'll learn how to layer colors and create different textures and shapes by making repeated pokes with a special felting needle. You'll leave the class with a beautiful work of art, framed in a wood embroidery hoop and ready to hang on your wall!
Instructor Erin Gardner is the founder and co-owner of Grey Fox Felting in Sauquoit, NY, and she has been sharing her love of needle felting through workshops and her growing line of felting kits for 8 years. Erin works primarily in the medium of needle felted wool, drawing inspiration from nature to create two-dimensional and sculptural work.
