Kirtan Brighton - Devotion & Joy

Mantra meditation, call & response, lead a chant, jam along, play on an instrument, bring an instrument, as well as witness and experience nourishment of your mind, body & soul.

This is a family event for all ages, so bring your children for free!

🎶 What You’ll Experience

• What does Kirtan mean (direct translations from Sanskrit to English)
• Hear Lorena, Katia, Veemal & others lead a Kirtan
• Connect through mantra meditation and collective chanting

We start with an Aum at 5pm followed by the Maha Mantra to warm everyone up, then the floor opens up for anyone to lead a mantra song to the divine/source.

Souls are welcome to try playing any instrument they have not played before, to come out of their comfort zone.
Completing the evening with an Aum at 6:30pm ish, and a chance to have a herbal tea or hot drink & practice on the instruments & exchange info.

Instruments available:-
1 x harmonium, 2 x Mridanga Drum, kartals, shakers, shakers, symbols, singing bowls.

Please do bring your instruments like a guitar if you would like.

Locals getting together & cultivating their vertical connection & sharing a prayer, song, chant & mantra with others. Supporting each others spiritual & material well being, in community.
