About this Event

Sadhana: Coalition of Progressive Hindus will provide an art activity that expands on Project Prithvi Clean Up initiatives . These clean ups focus on bridging an understanding between spirituality and environmental stewardship in Jamaica Bay. Through an art activity, participants will utilize art materials to create and envision higher powers and frame the idea of, ‘How would we visualize God if we had never been told what it looked like?’ Participants can either describe their answer or choose to create physical forms using water colors or other mediums. This activity will connect to sustainable practices relating to spirituality and the use of material culture.
