The Biobus at APEC

Stop by APEC for a special, free STEM event and climb aboard the Biobus, do a scavenger hunt on the trails, and cool off in the animal room.

Biobus

Info: An all-electric mobile science lab staffed with trained scientists who teach visitors about ecology, biology, and sustainability programs using interactive lab tools and microscopes. Come find out which critters the scientists and their visitors will be studying in the biobus this time!

Scavenger Hunt

Info: Take a self-guided nature walk along our trails. Soak up the sun on the boardwalk (stroller & wheelchair friendly) or head for the forested trails for a longer, much shadier walk. We’ll have a scavenger hunt of local wildlife for you to pick up at the front desk before you head to the trails!

Animal Room

Info: You’re always welcome to stop by the animal room to cool off and say hello to our animals. Inside you’ll find turtles, frogs, rabbits, birds, bugs, and many more of our most favorite critters.
