About this Event

Want to teach others how to ride? Start here!

Join our Volunteer Training—perfect for brand-new volunteers ready to jump into Bike New York's education programs or those returning after a long absence. You'll get the scoop on our signature "Balance First" method and learn the ropes of bike instruction.

After a one hour orientation and training, you'll put your skills into action by helping at our Learn to Ride – Adults.

No bike? No gear? No problem. We’ve got everything you need. Just don’t wear your fanciest outfit—things might get a little greasy.

After this session, you'll be ready to volunteer at Learn to Ride, Practice Sessions, and Bike Handling Skills classes.

Bring a friend, a family member, or a coworker—everyone’s welcome!
