Improv 301 with AUSTIN

About the Class: Welcome Students to Lancaster Improv Players' 301 Class! During this Eight-Week class students learn more advanced skills to use in their improv scenes! This is accomplished while learning how to do "The Harold", which is an improv form best suited to teach these skills! This form is completely learnable in that time, because of the skills learned in Improv 201! As a result: Completing LIP's Improv 201 is a requirement for taking this class. If you have not completed LIP 201, but have other Improv education or experience, please contact our Education Director for approval to take the class without the 201 prerequisite. Upon completing the eight weeks of class, the students will have a class show, which is scheduled for Saturday December 12th at 5pm!

This class runs for Eight Weeks on Wednesday nights for the following dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, and 12/8.

Early sign-up discount of $75 runs until end of day 8/17! Enrollment ends at noon on Sunday October 18th.

About the Teacher: this class will be taught by Lancaster Improv Player’s own Artistic Director: Austin Rittle. Ever since 2013, Austin has performed in more than four hundred improv shows and is a graduate of the Philly Improv Theater’s curriculum. Generally you will find Austin performing at LIP or cooking up a new show idea for the theater. Austin is a founding member of the Lancaster Improv Players and wants to continue to make Lancaster a funnier place through teaching what he loves. He makes the best salsa in Lancaster City.

About The Space: This class will be in our BRAND NEW 8 W King St Location!! It is on the second floor which can be accessed via elevator just a few steps from where you walk in! Full details on the space will be emailed closer to the start of the class, so keep your eyes on your email.

Refund policy: We will honor refund requests up until the class starts. Eventbrite fees may not be refundable, check with their refund policy.

Parking: Street Parking is available and the metering ends Monday-Saturday at 6pm. The parking garages are open! We recommend the Steinman garage. You enter on Vine St and can exit the garage right behind our building! On the weekends the garage is $5 for the full day.
