Lancaster Improv Players is on the move!
While we wait eagerly for our new theater space to be finished, we're going on the road to make sure the people of Lancaster City can get their improv comedy fix. Find us at St Peter's Church on Saturday, September 26, for an evening of chuckles, chortles, giggles, and guffaws elicited by LIP's home-grown comedy teams.

It's tradition at LIP that whenever you hear someone say "Go Bulldogs!", you have to reply "GO BULLDOGS!" GBD is Lancaster Improv Players longest running team; each show is a randomized selection of players from our entire community of students, coaches, and performers. that means once you finish an improv course at LIP, you can be a Bulldog, too!

From the whacky mind of Austin Rittle comes Lancaster's own game show! Join us for a hilarious competition of comedians making it all up as they go. Each season has it's own cast of contestants that get pulled from, so come cheer your friends on!
THEIR ROYAL LAZINESS 👑
Their Royal Laziness is one of LIP's longest running teams of improvisers! Their shows are entertaining and unpredictable, as they bring a playful and relaxed energy to the stage. Expect the unexpected from these maginificent majesties, on this their third anniversary of being formed.
Since 2015, we, the Lancaster Improv Players, have served our community through laughter. Our mission? To make Lancaster a funnier place, by performing around the region and training future players in the art of improv. You may have visited our little theater on 16 S Prince St, which we were delighted to call home for 6 incredible years. Now, we find ourselves between homes, as our new, much larger, venue in the heart of downtown Lancaster City is currently under construction.
Improv is a practice that encourages empathy and understanding, connecting people and empowering them to be their authentic selves. Through improv performances, classes, and workshops, LIP aims to show how comedy can shape a better world, providing people from all walks of life a safe place to laugh.
Whether you join us for a show, or take an improv class to get in on the fun, we're making Lancaster a funnier place together!
