🌿 January Theme: Right Effort · Softening into Balance
January is often a time when we unknowingly try too hard —
setting resolutions, pushing forward, and carrying tension into the new year.
In this January edition of Grounded Flow, we’ll explore the principle of Right Effort.
And for many of us, that means less effort, not more.
Rather than striving or forcing change, this workshop invites you to soften unnecessary tension, refine your effort, and reconnect with a more sustainable, balanced way of moving and breathing.
This is a practice of listening rather than pushing.
Of doing just enough — and no more.
A grounding, thoughtful way to begin the year with steadiness, sensitivity, and care.
🧘♀️ What to Expect
1 hour Ashtanga practice
A steady, breath-led sequence guided by Laura, focusing on grounding, softening excess effort, and cultivating stability in both body and mind.
Laura’s precise and intuitive adjustments support clarity, ease, and awareness within each posture.
45 minutes Meditation & Breathwork
Simple yet effective techniques to help settle the nervous system, refine attention, and create space — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Small, supportive group setting
With only 8 participants, you’ll receive attentive guidance and hands-on support, allowing for a deeper and more personal experience.
✨ Why this combination works
When effort is balanced and unnecessary tension softens, the body becomes more receptive.
From there, breath flows more freely, and meditation naturally deepens.
By beginning with mindful movement, we prepare both body and mind for stillness — allowing meditation and breathwork to feel grounded, accessible, and nourishing rather than forced.
This two-hour workshop offers a calm reset for the start of the year.
