Fostering information event

This information event is an informal opportunity for you to learn more about fostering and how to become a foster carer with the local authority. You can hear first-hand from people who foster and learn about some of our children and young people who needs homes. Mavis and Emma from our Fostering Recruitment and Assessment team will be on hand to chat and answer your questions, and we will tell you more about the process of becoming a foster carer.

This information event will cover the different types of fostering, the assessment process, training, and how people are supported through their journey.
