Meet Michelle, our talented Fiber Studio instructor at Unwind & Design Creative Studio!
Michelle is a full-time fiber artist who loves all things fiber! She creates commissioned artwork, and her work has been featured in countless competitions and displayed locally throughout the Imperial Valley.
As a mother of three young boys, Michelle loves working with children and sharing her creativity with students of all ages!
She’s patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching others the art of handmade creations.
Whether you’re completely new to fiber arts or looking to improve your skills, Michelle is here to help you learn, explore, and create!
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Our Fiber Studio offers a variety of hands-on workshops where students can explore different techniques, materials, and tools!
Cross-Stitching: Learn stitching techniques and patterns, and create beautiful embroidered designs.
Sewing: Learn basic stitches, how to use sewing machines, and how to create your own handmade projects.
Crocheting: Learn crochet stitches, patterns, and techniques to create everything from accessories to decorative pieces.
Knitting: Explore knitting techniques, needles, knitting machines, and how to create wearable handmade items.
Needle Felting: Learn how to shape wool fibers into adorable characters, flowers, and three-dimensional creations.
Looms & Weaving: Explore different loom types, weaving techniques, and tools to create beautiful fiber artwork.
